Our room was spacious and very clean although it seemed a bit run down. Opening the rear sliding glass doors led is out to a beautiful Oasis like indoor pool and hot tub with plants everywhere. The only problem was the heater on the pool was broken and the hot tub was not working.
So some people got bad things in their room but the thing is all rooms are different while I actually had a good room with everything nice the towels smelled wierd but eh who cares, I also saw some reviews about bed bugs but there were none. The breakfast was amazing and the pool too, the pool was really cold though and there should be more floaties. But the wifi is absolute trash D: THE OTHER BAD THING WAS THAT THERE WERE LITERLY BABY KITTENS ON THE TREE OUTSIDE OF MY ROOM
I gave this 4 stars because my experience wasn't a bad one,but also wasn't excellent. Friendly staff but there were no towels and it was not stocked with coffee or shampoo&conditioner. Also the air conditioner above the door could use some cleaning because my allergies were going nuts. The perks were that when asked for missing items like the towels we were accommodated quickly and with a friendly smile. Also there is a little restaurant/gas station attached to this hotel which was super convenient because we could still have breakfast even though we missed the hotels complimentary breakfast. The beds were comfortable and prices in that area reasonable.
Typical low cost motel. Staff at check in was friendly, room was large and clean. A bit outdated, the bedspread was thin and had some tears, but we bring blankets from home so this is not an issue. Exactly what we needed for an overnight stop through Texas
The rooms were nice and immediately ready. We were able to get rooms that made it easily accessible for my dad to use and the prices were low in comparison to other options near it. A worker at the front was always making sure the breakfast bar was stocked and was very kind.
Its an old Super 8... Pool was cold, hot tub didn't work but my 8 year old son didn't care. Staff was friendly, breakfast was good. Fun hotel to stay at if your visiting the Sonora Caverns. Room was clean.
Nice place, cheap and in the middle of nowhere, looks like it was once a happening spot for campers and rivers, I did check the room first as it is dated, but the room was clean and huge,beds were comfortable and quiet, there is also a pool and hot tub, and it's called the Republic Hotel. We didn't use the pool or hot tub because we were on time limit, so I can't coment on those things. The price was right.
Spent a weeknight.Room extremely spacious.Very,very clean.Looks to be family owned...everyone very nice.Felt very safe, no random people wandering around.Restaurant selection decent, food delicious! Prices good.Entire facility looks to be a work in progress...our room had new carpet, new plumbing fixtures and new tile. There were some cosmetic things that needed fixing but tolerable with price and the cleanliness. On a sad note: Unfortunately Continental breakfast absolutely nasty, food outdated, waffle mix curdled, coffee rancid, pastrys very stale and the list goes on...very unfortunate. If they did not want to do what was needed for even a basic presentation then it'd have been more merciful not to offer anything at all...it was bad....
